European Aviation M&A Continues to Gain Momentum
Pegasus Airlines has completed its acquisition of Smartwings Group and Czech Airlines in a transaction reported to be worth approximately €154 million, creating an airline group with a combined fleet of more than 175 aircraft.
The transaction further highlights the continued consolidation taking place across the European aviation sector, as companies look to strengthen market presence, expand networks and create new opportunities for long-term growth.
